Hours allocated for guided learning (HGL), represent the duration a learner spends receiving instruction directly supervised by an ICMS Trainer or Supervisor. This instruction may occur through online or in-person methods, encompassing class time, tutorials, live online sessions, and structured online learning.

Total Qualification Time (TQT)

Total Qualification Time, denoted as TQT, signifies the overall hours expected for an average learner to complete a qualification. It encompasses HGL, independent study time, reading, and preparation for scheduled sessions and competency assessments not conducted under the direct supervision of an instructor. In the case of Advanced National qualifications, this is referred to as total notional hours (TNH).
